This bug is still present in Ubuntu - when I opened the apps lens and click an icon, the lens vanished and I dropped it on an already open app (Firefox) and my system hung and them compiz crashed when I switched to a different viewport.

Can someone else set this to confirmed as I can't. Thanks!

I believe this to be a duplicate of bug 766074, and that Robert Carr's fix of that bug of Wed 2011-09-28 11:24:48 +0100 fixes this bug as well.
