@Aaron
Thanks for the system-image-cli output. It seems you're running a pretty old image. I would suggest bringing your device up-to-date with the latest devel image. As we've recently re-worked the way channels work for touch images, you'd use the following command to re-flash the latest:
$ ubuntu-device-flash --channel ubuntu-
You other option would be to wait a few days and then update the device, as we have a pending OTA update soon to be released.
Also, re: the scripts I mentioned, please *run* the scripts and attach their output, not their contents. Ex.
$ /usr/share/
Finally, it might also be helpful to attach ( using the "Add attachment or patch" at the bottom of this page ) your syslog ( from /var/log ) to the bug as well.

I got that image by following the example on the dev.u.c website so you
might need to update that.

I just flashed over this:
phablet@
current build number: 220
device name: mako
channel: ubuntu-
last update: 2015-06-13 20:38:24
version version: 220
version ubuntu: 20150613
version device: 20150529.1
version custom: mako-1.1
And MMS + Data works!

@Aaron
Can you please add your image details via:
$ system-image-cli -i
Also the output of list-modems and list-contexts would be super helpful ( both found in /usr/share/ ofono/scripts ).
