Hi,
I can't reproduce this on my system - I think this might be a configuration issue or a special case by having failed to initialize ntp on install.
If you do not need ntp anyway just remove it, otherwise would you mind giving the suggestions mentioned in [1] a try (adapted to ntp of course).
