Sorry, this may have been user error ... it asked me if I wanted to "monitor" eth0, and I said "yes" (knowing I had only one "network" attached) ... but, now I see its name is "eth1" ... so, perhaps I just assumed it detected eth0 and it was assuming I'd change it to correct name.
