ntfs-config crashed with OSError in __init__(): [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/etc/hal/fdi/policy'

just tried to open the program and it crashed. I am running off of a flashdrive with persistence
i am using ubuntu 11.04 natty x86
ntfs-config:
