Bug Description

Binary package hint: ntfs-config

If I open the application from the app drawer a window pops up, asks for my password, then closes. Nothing else happens. If i run the app from the terminal window, it again asks for my sudo password then goes away. The terminal window outputs the following text

 main(args, opts)
  File "/usr/bin/ntfs-config", line 75, in main
    app = NtfsConfig()
  File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/NtfsConfig/NtfsConfig.py", line 56, in __init__
    os.mkdir(HAL_CONFIG_DIR)
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/etc/hal/fdi/policy'
