Bug Description

Binary package hint: ntfs-3g

When upgrading to libfuse2 2.8.4-1ubuntu1.3 on maverick (and also to 2.8.1-1.1ubuntu3.1 on lucid) tying to mount a ntfs partition fails with errorcode 21.

i don't know if this is a really a bug in ntfs-3g or in fuse (Bug #727668)

Additional details:
ntfs-3g version 1:2010.8.8-0ubuntu1

current workaround is to pin down libfuse2 and fuse-utils to version 2.8.4-1ubuntu1 in /etc/apt/preferences

Both versions of ubuntu are outdated and not any longer officially supported. Setting the bug-status to "incomplete".

Feel free to reopen, if you cannot comply with this action.
