firefox will not play flash video (embedded youtube)

this continues to happen quite often. I can sometimes play youtube videos, but lately (more often than not), they just won't play - especially embedded flash videos from youtube. For instance, this website:

is a great example. I press play, but nothing happens.

This appears to be an issue with Firefox and the adobe flash player. Chromium in Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) installed with Synaptic Package Manager works like a champ.

I noticed this too and it's exactly like the post I found disabling compiz-fusion fixed it and if you re-enable it you cannot click the stop button or any controls.

Also is this bug a duplicate of ? I've also tried creating new ~/.mozilla directory to make sure it wasn't any plugins causing it.

After upgrade of ubuntu 11.04, youtube video wasn't work. Only black window

I have this mainly with embedded youtube, on they do play. They start in any case but video lags terribly while sound continues.
