npm not installable from backport PPA

Bug Description

Because of the dependency "node-ansi (>= 0.3.0-2)", you cannot backport npm to a PPA for trusty et al, as the ppa prefix is incompatible with the depends:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 npm : Depends: node-ansi (>= 0.3.0-2) but 0.3.0-2~ubuntu14.04.1~ppa1 is to be installed

This needs ideally to be "node-ansi (>= 0.3.0-2~)" to allow backport packages as well.
