Knotify didn't clear old unnecessary messages from list

I have use Kopete and other applicaions in KDE 4.5, that shows some notifies via knotify. And if I don't close each message manually, at end of the day I see in list all messages that I receive!

Most of messages are useful only short time after show, and I don't want to see the long list with it, and there are no needs to store all of them all the time. For example, notifications of player status change, kopete messages about status change, kopete messages that I already read... we must remove it after 1-5 minutes if used didn't act on it.

And some more info about Kopete notifications: they have buttons "Open" and "Dismiss". And when I press "Dismiss", the message didn't removes from list! And if I press "Open" - I see it in list too! It disappear only when I press "x" button!

I think that we must clear old unnecessary messages automatically, but I can't find the way how to set timeout for auto-remove message, or the way to clear old messages via cli command.

If I use "notify-send", it have the option --expire-time=TIME, but after this time messages hide from the screen, but don't removes from list of all notifications.

Does "notify-send" or other command have any option to set auto-remove timeout and option to clear all messages from the specific group?
