Bug Description

Binary package hint: notify-osd

In notify-osd i'm randomly (about half the time) seeing the "ghost man" avatar instead of a person facebook profile pic when someone connects to Facebook Chat in Empathy. You must have [Preference --> Notification ---> Enable notification when a contact comes online] enabled.

The profile pic does show up if someone disconnects and reconnects to Facebook chat while Empathy is running.

does it work correctly if you use notification-daemon rather than notify-osd?

could you run the dbus-monitor --session command and see what is requested on dbus when getting the issue?

thank you for the detail that will be useful to determine if the issue is a notify-osd or empathy one
