[lucid] notify-osd not works when is opened menu

open menu, e.g. main menu and then press brightness up/down (or something else) and bubble won't appear

sorry to say, but i had to stop my lucid testing, since lucid would break the video driver every couple of minutes in the middle of operation.
only sleep->wake up could give me my desktop back.

i might try again when the first beta becomes available, or the devs manage to fix this videodriver thing on a later alpha

what a pity, since i love testing ;)

I can confirm this on Karmic 9.10 with the Volume up/down control not
showing up when I browse any of the top-panel menus. But I guess this holds
true for all the synchronous notifications. (On the other hand, I'm kinda
against the idea of a Volume up/down or a Brightness 'notification' as an
Interface Guideline anyway.)
I'm looking over this now.
