Bug Description
Binary package hint: notification-daemon
Notification balloon apears on far right border of desktop, even on a dual screen setup.
I use a Toshiba Protege M700, and at home have a benq 22" monitor which I configure to display to the right of the laptipps screen. In this set-up the notifications apear on the far right border of the desktop (see screen shot)
I would expect the notifications to appear on the right hand side of the main screen (where menu, user name and logout are)
as notifications pop up close to a meter (3') away from my Pigin, or network manager applets.
This is quite a problem as its far away from main focus area (laptop's screen) and from where configuration, pidgin etc are running. This could also be a problem when using a projector. I believe the notifications should stay on the main screen with panels, applets etc.
I wouldn't say this is an important problem, but needs to be addressed to make the user experience more polished and professional, and to improve multiple display performance.

note, I recompiled the kernel to provide support for my Wireless broadband modem, but this behaviour existed before that.
The recompile was done in accordance to the steps here - http:// ubuntuforums. org/showthread. php?p=8076010# post8076010
