Bug Description
Binary package hint: notify-osd
I just installed Ubuntu 9.04 x32 Beta on my DELL Inspiron 9400. I can change the backlight of the screen using the Fn key and the up and down key, but it doesn't show the notification bubble. In the top right corner I can see a little black line right underneath the area where the date, the time and the logof thing is displayed. This black line is the top of the notification bubble. All other items of the bubble aren't displayed.
On other events (unplugging the network cable or changing the sound volume) the bubble is displayed correctly, but when using the backlight controls the notification bubble only shows a thin black line.
