While playing SUpertuxkart, screen resolution low when notify osd appear

I'm Using SUpertuxkart on Ubuntu 13.04. Each time Notify OSD notify me of something (U1 sync, mail received etc), screen resolution go down to 800x600 until the notification disappear. This didn't happened with 12.10.
