Graphic Glitch When Changing Volume

Bug Description
When changing volume via using the middle button/scroll wheel of the mouse a orange graphic line appears each time you change the volume for the first time after the notify-osd meter appears, this does not occur when changing volume by clicking on volume icon and changing it by dragging meter up and down.
I have attached a picture which shows the line above the notify-osd
