Bug Description
Binary package hint: notification-daemon
What happens:
I have a strange problem that has started happening since I installed Karmic 9.10. This never happened in Jaunty 9.04.
Occasionally, notications appear to the left of the screen rather than in the correct location. This happens sometimes for Notify-OSD notifications, but also sometimes for other notifications eg notications from the "CheckGMail" app for checking my mail account.
I enclose a screenshot of what I mean - in this case I have had a "new email" notification from the CheckGMail icon which resides in the system tray. When I hover my cursor over the icon to check the details, the notification appears to the left of the screen.
What should happen:
Notifications should appear in the correct location.
