Notify plugin stacks up balloons if you press forward repeatedly

Bug Description

Binary package hint: quodlibet-plugins

Notify 0.5 plugin in Quod Libet:

If you press "next track" repeatedly, the balloons stack up and overflow the screen instead of each replacing the previous.

This isn't really a duplicate. I am complaining that the balloons stack up, while that bug is about the bugs *not* stacking up. :-) I think the notification balloons should probably be replaced by subsequent balloons in this case. Could each one be made to "expire" when another one is created to take its place?

Those are the same question to know what is supposed to happen when you send quickly several notifications, I would say that stacking up is the normal behaviour

This isn't the same as bug #108702. This is about the balloons stacking up repeatedly and taking up the entire screen. The older balloons should be removed as newer ones are created so they don't stack up. Doesn't matter whether they overlap or stack. This is about the fact that they are being created and not closed as subsequent ones are created.
