Bug Description

Hi
I have weird problem on ubuntu 18.10
We use rsync in our scripts in armbian distro (armbian.com)
for syncing files between directories
and
this don't work for some reason
nocache rsync /home/someuser/folder1/ /home/someuser/folder2/
but this is working just fine
rsync /home/someuser/folder1/ /home/someuser/folder2/

you can reproduce this on ubuntu 18.10 x86 64bit
everything works fine on ubuntu 18.04
I checked packages rsync, nocache on ubuntu 18.10 and 18.04 and it looks like same versions

rsync 3.1.2-2.2
nocache 1.0-1

So any idea where is problem?

can you create fix package for nocache with
fix from
https://github.com/Feh/nocache/issues/34

as nocache is useless in ubuntu 18.10

affects: rsync (Ubuntu) → nocache (Ubuntu)

ubuntu has nocache 1.1 version in repo https://packages.ubuntu.com/disco/nocache
and nocache 1.0 don't work on ubuntu 18.10 as there is deadlock in combination of nocache 1.0 and libc 2.28 on ubuntu 18.10
So it make sense to release 1.1 as fixed version for ubuntu 18.10 (working version)
