Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This was resolved as mentined in the attached Debian bug, and I've verified the icon shows up as expected in version 6.40-0.2ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 14.04 and later releases. Thus, I'm marking this as fix released.
If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please perform as much as possible of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
