2010-11-29 07:01:06 Bilal Akhtar description Binary package hint: nginx 0.7.61-1ubuntu2 introduced: * Install html files. - debian/dirs: Add 'var/www/nginx-default'. - debian/nginx.install: Add 'html/* var/www/nginx-default'. Apparently, Debian does not agree on this patch (see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=572513). I think we should either remove this (currently only) delta between Debian, or add our rational for installing it into README.Debian. Andres, you've added this change. Can you provide more info? Do you agree to follow Debian here? Binary package hint: nginx 0.8.53-1ubuntu1 installs the default website twice. And, when dpkg sees this, these things happen: 1) Dpkg halts with an error 2) The debian policy gets violated 3) The default website doesn't get installed
