" el subproceso instalado el script pre-removal devolvió el código de salida de error 2". This is simply a localized version of an apt-get error (or dpkg?). Anyway, the english string would read:

subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 2

Also, the dpkg-terminal-log reads:

Desinstalando gtk2-engines-pixbuf:i386 ...
Desinstalando nginx-full ...
awk: cannot open /etc/nginx/nginx.conf (No such file or directory)
invoke-rc.d: initscript nginx, action "stop" failed.
dpkg: error al procesar nginx-full (--purge):
el subproceso instalado el script pre-removal devolvió el código de salida de error 2

In english this would be:

Uninstalling gtk2-engines-pixbuf:i386 ...
Uninstalling nginx-full ...
awk: cannot open /etc/nginx/nginx.conf (No such file or directory)
invoke-rc.d: initscript nginx, action "stop" failed.
dpkg: error processing nginx-full (--purge):
subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 2

+1 to Daniel Manrique (roadmr) for providing a translation assist for the dpkg terminal logs.

This "bug" eerily reminds me of Bug 1206878, which we fixed in Precise, but we may have overlooked Quantal, Raring, and Saucy.

Based on Debian upstream and changes here, this does not impact Trusty, however I am going to look into whether Quantal, Raring, and Saucy are all affected by this (Starting with Saucy, because of this bug).

If this is indeed a duplicate of 1206878 then the changes done on 1206878 in Precise should be the same for here, with some minor version changes.

"Unknown", can you please tell me what command(s) you were running to get this "bug"? I'm unable to replicate with just a "purge", which suggests it's *not* bug 1206878, however, without additional information I cannot begin to diagnose the issue with this bug.

Ultimately, you can work around this error (unless others trigger) by doing `sudo touch /etc/nginx/nginx.conf` which will create a blank file that apt/dpkg can then remove.
