NFS freeze after switching network interface

Binary package hint: nfs-common
While switching from ethernet to wi-fi a mounted NFS share is not accessible for a while.
The ethernet is a intel e1000 (in 100T network) and the wireless is ipw220 (g,wpa2).
/etc/fstab line:
dogon:/mnt/data /media/data nfs rw,hard,
steps to reproduce :
$ mount /media/data
[change network interface from ethernet to wi-fi]
$ ls /media/data
[hangs for a few minutes or until changing back to ethernet network]
dmesg output (dogon is the server NFS server name) :
