Bug Description

gssd.conf no longer adds $RPCGSSDOPTS for rpc.gssd, which is something we relied on since I need to add the '-n' option and kinit manually to make it work with AD.

The only way to include the options from /etc/default/nfs-common is by switching the 'exec' back to a 'script' in the upstart job, and that tickles bug #545673, so this won't be fixed.

/etc/init/gssd.conf is a conffile; you can edit it directly just as you would edit /etc/default/nfs-common, and your changes will be preserved.

I'd have thought that the correct workaround for that bug would be to move rpc.gssd & rpc.idmapd to /sbin...

Ultimately that would be ideal; in the near term, that would require moving
a significant number of libraries to /lib, which requires touching multiple
packages and will take some time to get done.
