Just trying to instal nfs kernel for nfs support and crashed

I ran into the same issue with nfs-common (1:1.1.2-4ubuntu2) on Jaunty Alpha 1 inside VirtualBox personal edition.

As far as I remember, there is an difference between the name of the executable and the name of the service invoked in the last line of the postinst file.

I modified the file : /var/lib/dpkg/info/nfs-kernel-server.postinst to get it consistent.

I can't log in my Karmic now but I will post the content of my modified file tomorrow ... if it can help :)

It would be nice that someone can fix this simple bug before the release.

Johann, I see nothing here to suggest that whatever bug you encountered is related to what this bug submitter was experiencing. It sounds like you're describing a different, karmic-specific bug which was already fixed.
