Bug Description
Configuration:
Ubuntu 13.10 client, mounting NFS directories from FreeBSD server.
Only NFSv4 is used. Authentication is done using the "krb5p" method. Relevant line /etc/fstab:
lion:/export/
There are a few more of the same, mounting other directories.
After upgrading from the previous version to 13.10, the mounts does not work anymore. Trying to mount manually using: "mount /lion/videos" causes the mount command to hang. After terminating the mount command (Control-C) the syslog displays the following:
Nov 4 21:57:13 tiger kernel: [ 463.976830] RPC: AUTH_GSS upcall timed out.
Nov 4 21:57:13 tiger kernel: [ 463.976830] Please check user daemon is running.
Nov 4 21:57:13 tiger kernel: [ 463.976960] NFS: nfs4_discover_
The gssd daemon is running:
elias@tiger:~$ ps -ef | grep gss
root 4998 3035 0 22:03 ? 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/
