This package provides the OpenStack Neutron OVN metadata proxy agent.

Package works out of the box with no prompting. There are no major bugs in Ubuntu and there are no major bugs in Debian. Unit tests are run during build.

Simple python package that the OpenStack Team will take care of.

OVN provides virtual networking for Open vSwitch. The OVN metadata agent presents a metadata API to VMs, similar to what is available on Amazon EC2, when

As neutron-ovn-metadata-agent is a new binary package from the neutron source package, which is already in main, this does not need a full MIR team review. I reviewed the source changes (which are very minimal) and see no problem with the addition.

As such this can be approved as an existing part of the neutron package, already in main.

(Note I looked for the MIR bug originally approving neutron, but could not find it; it's been in main since at least Trusty).

Note as this is my first MIR review as a new member of the MIR team, I'm asking another MIR team member to review my review before officially approving this.

I discussed with @doko and we see no problems with this, so the new binary pkg is approved for main as part of the neutron source pkg which is already in main.
