Binary package hint: network-manager
2 physical network interfaces :

- usb0 : motherboard specific USB ethernet interface (NOT connected)
Only usb0 interface is activated on boot. Always need to enable eth0 interface in Gnome nm-applet. Very annoying.
Ubuntu Version : Feisty-Fawn beta.
