Bug Description

i've just installed fresh copy of xubuntu (previous version was plain ubuntu 11.10) and i have exactly same problem as before - i can't automatically connect to my wireless network.
my network spec
ssid: 007 (hidden)
encryption: wpa2 personal (aes)
filter by mac address (but it doesn't matter afaik)

the problem is that network-manager (i assume) messes up with ssid and when i try to manually connect to my network it
1. display wrong ssid
2. keep asking me for password

and i'm unable to connect to previously set-up connection

instead of correct ssid, there's a weird char,i've attached a screen-shot (also here: http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/6525/networku.png )
after login, system tries to connect to a network, but fails and keep asking for password just like on manual connect.

workaround is to remove all saved wireless connections and click "connect to hidden network"
exactly same situation pops up when i set my ssid to broadcast - only first connection works.

on 10.04 everything worked fine
