On my Samsung X20 notebook (with Ubunut Edgy 6.10), i can't create an ad-hoc network using the NetworkManager (0.63). And also I can't join any ad-hoc network with the Network Manager. I've tried that with no encryption.

reassigning to kernel. afaik, most drivers are just not capable of properly doing ad-hoc. |

NM 0.7 does that right now. please look bug 256905 for an outstanding issue in intrepid ... but once the proposed patch/fix is in intrepid this will be fixed for real. for NM please followup on that bug from now on. |

i have no indication that there are still iwl specific driver problem. |
