Bug Description

Since an (otherwise flawless) upgrade from 9.10 netbook to 10.04 netbook, whenever I connect to a WAP, the link starts to get flaky when data are transferred, until it disconnects totally. I have tried Tomato, and now m0n0wall; and the behavior is similar.
According to the Forums, I am by far not the only one. I am running everything on an Acer Aspire One (L110).
Compare as well threads 9232384, 9232402, 9232313 and a few more. (I haven't made sure that they actually suffer from the same problem, though).

Here is my dmesg:

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates.

I'm going to close this bug report as their is nothing else we can do with this old report in a now unsupported version of Ubuntu.

Changed in network-manager (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
