Bug Description
I can't connect to my network via network manager, even though I can connect using dhclient. To reproduce this problem, I:
1. Click on the n-m applet in the panel.
2. Select "Connect to Other Wireless Network...", because my AP doesn't publish its ESSID.
3. Enter the ESSID and click "Connect".
I expect: to connect to my wireless network.
I get: the fancy n-m animation, but it never connects to my network.
My card:
[ 53.622578] orinoco 0.15rc3 (David Gibson <email address hidden>, Pavel Roskin <email address hidden>, et al)
[ 53.634538] airport 0.15rc3 (Benjamin Herrenschmidt <email address hidden>)
I'm running Dapper, n-m 0.6.2.

I have the same card, same driver, and same issue with network manager. My work around has always been with editing /etc/network/ interfaces. Even if I select my wide open network with the NM it still doesn't connect. I have other cards, and it works just fine with them. I am running Ubuntu 6.06LTS dual boot with Kubuntu 6.06 LTS.
