Thanks for your bug. Do you have a simple way to get the issue? Are the dialog coming from the same application? Do they have the same message? Did you check the box to store the password?

Yes, it happens for me every time I start up my laptop.

I get 2 or 3 gnome-keyring dialogues from network-manager, all exactly the same message (asking so that it can get the key for my wireless network).

Yes I do check the box to store the password.

Generally, I cancel the requests to unlock the keyring, cancel the next dialogue asking for my wireless network key, then re-select the access point from the NM drop-down, and then it asks for the gnome-keyring password just once and I provide it.

The gnome-keyring password dialouge's are all for networkmanager (it's the only piece of software that uses gnome-keyring on my system, as far as I know/use)

They only appear the first time; if I disconnect the wireless and re-connect (thus needing the wep key again) it doesn't need the keyring password again.

The boxes are appearing while gnome is logging in, and while my login time isn't unusally long, possibly there's a timeout triggering too quickly, so nm-applet asks for the key again, which triggers the password box once more?

no sure about a possible timeout. Do you use the options to store the password to the keyring? Maybe network-manager is running new process that need to be registred again? Anyway that bug would probably be better placed upstream since they know that code better

not sure which bug or piece of software this relates to, so added two upstream bugs - the networkmanager one has already been fixed in cvs.

marking as duplicate of bug #31286, according to upstream:

"Should be fixed in CVS HEAD and also on the STABLE branch."

not a gnome-keyring bug if that's fixed from network-manager
