Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

Using Ubuntu 9.10 (Final Edition)

I have attempted various solutions and scenarios however it makes no difference. Using Ubuntu It doesn't seem to want to dial the pppoe connections while using the network manager.

My router is now on router mode instead of the default bridge mode. I can now access the internet as it is going through my lan.

Spoken to a couple of friends and they have the same problem.

Marking this bug as a duplicate of bug #432205 : PPPoE connections can't be established, fails with pppd_timed_out() error.
