Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

I tried to set up home network via Netwok Manager, but it just wont work. I chose "Manual" as method, set up IP adress and netmask, click add, but when I click apply it tries ti initialise network and then Network manager crashes. Then Application problem applet apears and offers me to report problem. I ignored it and tried again but it was the same. Now I clicked "Report problem" and here i am :) Other LAN controler which is conected on internet router does not seem to be affected. It works well.

So here is the info:
Mobo is Asus P5Q-E with dual Ethernet, both Marvell. 88E8001 is connected to internet modem and is working fine with DHCP, while 88E8056 is the one I (unsuccessfully) trying to setup with home network. I am using prerelease which is initialy 9.10 Alpha 6 but I updated it after install so I dont know what is now.

I just updated to Beta, and I noticed that new network manager was among updated packages. I hoped that the bug is fixed but it is not.

It still crashes when I try to setup connections. Only different thing is that it no longer show up that dialog for reporting crashes. So it crashes and do not offer reporting.
