Bug Description
After loading a driver for a network device (b44) that adds the device eth0, NetworkManager doesn't notice until dbus is restarted (restarting hald and NetworkManager). It is unclear where this bug belongs.

Please do the following before loading the driver...
$ sudo -s 1/event. d/25NetworkMana ger stop
# /etc/dbus-
# NetworkManager --no-daemon 2>nm.log
Load the driver, and then provide the nm.log file
