Wireless won't connect to secure network

Bug #366192 reported by Ed Kura on 2009-04-24
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
network-manager (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Running version 8.04. Before allowing Update Manager to install new updates on April 20, I could connect to my secure wireless network. After the updates were posted, I could no longer connect to it. I can connect to unsecure networks. It appears that no parameters have changed, but I can't connect securely. I need the secure connection to work.

Please help! Contact me at <email address hidden> for more info. Thanks!

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release the Karmic Koala. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
