I'm experiencing the same problem with the same (or similar) broadband adaptor.

I'd also like to add that only one of the entries successfully connects. The other starts to and then displays the disconnected notification.

Having the same problem. Double entry and difficulty in connecting (if at all at times). Using a Huawei E220 usb modem and Vodafone Australia.

Same here now that my connection is again listed. See bug #346835.
Anyway, i had this even before (jaunty only - never did it in intrepid) and sometimes could connect using the second one listed.

I've noticed that the second entry appears if the modem is taken out from usb and then reinserted, or when there's a log-out followed by a log-in.

just notice in Kubuntu 9.04 Alpha 6 that mobile broadband detects my Huawei E220 usb modem in both ttyUSB0 and ttyUSB1.

The weird thing is now that whenever I have a double entry, one of them works while the other does not. If i don't have double entries -that is whenever _only_ _ one_ shows - that single entry does not work.

this should be fixed in latest jaunty packages. If not, ping me on irc (e.g. #ubuntu-mozillateam on freenode)
