Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

Ubuntu Release: 8.10
Package Version: 0.7~~svn20081018t105859-0ubuntu1.8.10.1

Expectation: I was expecting NM to recognize all of my existing network connections and properly configure them. I expected to be able to control them via the NM applet.

What Happened: After I ran updates (which included a lot of other updates) NM lists my existing NICs as "unmanaged". If I open NM to edit the connections the Wired section, which prior to the update listed both of my NICs, is empty. The odd thing is that thy are currently working. If I do a "ifconfig" I see all of my connections just like they use to be.
