It is not a linux kernel issue: I have downgrade to nm 0.6.6 and now my wireless connections work perfectly with the same kernel (2.6.27-8-generic). |

@ Arnaud Blouin : I do not believe that is the same, since this bug is present if network manager is removed from the system. If downgrading nm could fix it, it should not be present without nm. Thanks for trying to help.
