Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-manager
GSM connections won't work with PIN code protected modems - despite having supplied the correct PIN for the connection in nm-connection-
The connection attempt fails almost immediately and reverts back to the disconnected state.
Workaround: Unlock the modem manually on boot by for instance (if your PIN code is 1234):
sudo sh -c 'echo "AT+CPIN=1234" > /dev/ttyUSB0'
Then the GSM modem can connect easily.
