Bug Description
I have the latest 8.10 Intrepid Ibex release and my wireless network does not work on resume from standby. I have not tried resume from hibernation. I have a T60p with an atheros wireless LAN card. I went to connect to my wireless network when I resumed from standby and it wouldn't even give me notification of a signal. This has been in a problem in the past with previous releases.

I believe I've seen this as well on a Lenovo T61 w/ iwl4965. Running kernel linux-headers- 2.6.27- 9-generic.
I found the following thread that describes the same issue. http:// thread. gmane.org/ gmane.linux. kernel. wireless. general/ 23374
I retrofit the patch from 2.6.28 to 2.6.27-9 (see http:// thread. gmane.org/ gmane.linux. kernel. wireless. general/ 23374). This fixed the problem for me.
