Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

After one of the latest Intrepid updates, we have the following boot messages:

...
* Starting bluetooth [ OK ]
* Starting NetworkManager... [ OK ]
* Starting NetworkManager... [ fail ]
* Starting GNOME Display Manager... [ OK ]
...

NetworkManager daemon starts twice.

This is what I have into /etc/rc2.d:

$ ls /etc/rc2.d
K08vmware S20ddclient S30system-tools-backends
README S20dkms_autoinstaller S50ntp

Why NetworkManager tries to start itself twice?

Seems to be solved now (for me, at least). Could someone check the fix?
