Binary package hint: network-manager My HSDPA USB Modem is the MF628 from ZTE. I installed the alpha 5 of ubuntu intrepid, which uses the kernel 2.6.27 where the modem driver is included. But with the Network-manager(version 0.7) I can't connect this modem.
