Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu 21.04
Release: 21.04
girish@girish-System-Product-Name:~$

I just upgraded my home testing and learning PC from 20.10 to 21.04 yesterday. Before upgrade, my network connection which is a USB wifi adapter which connects to my android device's hotspot; working fine, but after upgrade I noticed that to activate the network connection, I have to follow these steps :

1.Turn off Wifi settings
2.Turn off hotspot
3.Turn off mobie data connection
4.Turn on mobie data connection
5.Turn on hotspot
6.Turn on Wifi in settings

Now, it works. I don't know the complete steps to file a bug, this is my first chance so please bear with me and ask, if i need to provide more details.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. Strange behavior. Today morning when I switched on the PC, after around 10 seconds, network connected and worked fine automatically, I didn't changed anything, otherwise yesterday I got "Activation of Network connection failed" popped up and after that popup, it got connected automatically. So, in all I can say that this is somewhere bug in either kernel, userspace or NetworkManager program. Something need to be fix for sure.
