2020-06-15 14:42:02 Markus1978 description I am getting this issue since about a year on my Lenovo Thinkpad x240. I have configured the computer to stay awake and empty the screen (system settings > power management) when I close the lid with the power plugged in. What I expect to happen: Wifi network stays connected and network related programs (like bit-torrent or http downloads) continue to run. What actually happens: Wifi always disconnects after closing the lid and doesn't come back upon opening it. I just see a "two arrows"-symbol on the top bar. When I try to reconnect manually, the wifi symbol is blinking, but the network manager eventually gives up. I have to disable wifi (or network as a whole) for a second and enable it again, to then automatically reconnect to my home wifi network.
