Bug Description
The NetworkManager applet should have an option to rescan for wireless networks. NetworkManager currently requires me to connect manually each time to my wireless network with hidden SSID, even though it has previously stored the network information (i can see it in gconf-editor and the gnome keyring manager).

This is true. After it does an initial scan during boot-up, if a new network becomes available, there is no way to rescan the available networks through a right click on the network manager icon. There should be a way to rescan the available networks through the right click menu. If it is there, then it is not working.
