Despite being connected to the Internet, Ubuntu was unable to retrieve any data due to having a "temporary failue in name resolution" every single time until I restarted BOTH Ubuntu and the router

Despite this laptop's being connected to the network that is connected to the Internet, network manager was saying how the network had "poor name resolution" despite the network working fine. I had to restart BOTH ubuntu and network manager for this to work.
