WIFI after suspend reconnect but no internet connection established

Bug Description

Distro Lubuntu 16.10
Computer Gateway

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0bda:8187 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8187 Wireless Adapter

After i reconnect from suspend i can see network manager reconnecting to my SSID via the nm-applet but i cannot browse the web. I need to do sudo systemctl restart network-manager.service to re-establish a valid connection.

I have resorted to use WICD wifi is much more stable and reconnects after suspend

This is an unsupported release now. Please think to install the next LTS 'Bionic 18.04'
