Bug Description

Device: Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition (ARALE-MEIZU)
OS: Ubuntu 15.04 (r323)
Ubuntu Image 20160512 armhf (20160512-020304)
Device Image 20160331-e14fc2
Adaptation Image 20160504-975-19-6

(above Image descriptions may be wrong, i'm working from Dutch Locale)

problem exists since estimated sunday, May 8 2016

expected behavior:
- Data connection remains up until manually specified otherwise
- when connection is lost due to external causes (such as bad signal), data connection is automatically restored when available
- same for Wifi.

encoutered behavior:
- after x amount of time (x varies between 1 and 4 hours so far) data and wifi connection is lost, and neither data or wifi will reconnect until I manually switch to flight-mode and back.
- may also affect SIM status

I am willing to supply log files or enter terminal commands, but need to be instructed

MX4, stable channel OTA-10.1 (also happened on previous OTA's)
Phone is loosing the network connection, or better said, won't reconnect to the mobile network after it looses signal in areas with poor coverage. The network icon is shown, data is not. Even when network is shown, when tried to make a call, call fails - no signal.
Have to either reboot or toggle flight mode on and off. Then it reconnects just fine. Sometimes it reconnects to the network by itself when awaken by pressing power button and typed in the password to unlock the phone.
It's rather an annoying bug, cos I wasn't reachable many times when someone tried to call me.

Same here, also on stable channel with mx4.
After I did a factory reset yesterday, the connection loss happened today just once. It seems especially often to happen, as Stefan Mikulay describes, whenever you have poor coverage and the device needs to reconnect.

I had to stop using my mx4. Even with a stable connection it is not possible for me to receive or make calls for sure. Connection drops while dialing or when I try accept a call.
The first two days after factory reset it was more stable, but know it's just not usable anymore. If you need any logs, just let me know and I mount the SIM back into the mx4.

If this is specific to the mobile network it sounds like a dupe of bug #1579098
Wifi should certainly reconnect
